Our mission at Still Water Rowing Club (SWRC) is to create a youth rowing program which will increase rowing participation rates in Northern Virginia while also encouraging the healthy development of the area's youth. The need for youth sports' programs is validated and magnified by information that attributes long-term value to participants in these programs. SWRC offers an experience that serves as a personal "sports reference" for participants throughout their lives.

Still Water Rowing Club is a not-for-profit organization that provides the community with a complete youth rowing program. SWRC offers participants from 7th grade through high school positive learning and team experiences along with the opportunity to create life-long memories. SWRC is becoming a premier provider of youth rowing experiences, and seeks to make this experience affordable and available for all interested participants. We do this through strategic partnerships with local high school organizations and other neighboring clubs.

Our Team

Still Water Rowing club was founded in 2014 by coaches Mike Penn and Trevor Barry. At that time, the program operated in Fairfax Virginia. The program was discontinued in 2017, but is now being reorganized in Loudoun County Virginia in 2022!
